Benchmarking OptionAgent Performance

How does our performance compare...?

As our fund completes its first year of trading, it's an appropriate time to compare performance to other hedge funds.

While there is no single source of truth for this, various sources report hedge fund performance data. We show here data from 3 sources:

• YTD (until e/o August 2023) performance data of hedge funds, covering all strategies and AUMs, and also when filtered for all strategies but only 'emerging' hedge funds (AUM < $100M) as reported by Preqin, a database of alternative asset investments.

The Preqin database also includes our OptionAgent fund so we show its listed data as well.

• MTD (until Sep 21 2023), YTD and historical performance data of global hedge funds, expressed by the HFRX Global Hedge Fund Index from HFR (Hedge Fund Research).

• a Bloomberg article from early 2023 listing annual 2022 hedge fund performance.

The remainder shows just the data without further comment but it's abundantly clear the performance record to date of the OptionAgent Capital Partners LP fund is outstanding...
